In 2017, with their ongoing commitment with Pure Storage it was decided that a re-branding exercise was required to align the business more closely with one of their leading vendors.
The new logo needed to be bold and dynamic using a shade of blue associated with Cobalt. However, rather than overstating the Pure Storage orange, the subtle application of the orange in the full-stop associates Cobalt without overstating the alliance.
The Cobalt logo was subsequently applied to their stationery, website and social media platforms. In addition, the strong branding is used for events that Cobalt host including the ‘Disruptive Technologies in Disruptive Times’ event held at Guinness Storehouse in May 2018 hosted by Miriam O’Callaghan.
