In early 2017 I was asked to devise a direct mail campaign for Pure Storage to be sent via their re-seller community in UK & Ireland to their end users.
My approach to direct mail is to provide the recipient with something that is useful, that is on message with regard to the brand and will also delight.
The solution I came up with was a Pure Storage branded Purifier jug. The design used the Pure logo ‘bug’ on the jug itself which appears to dissolve in water. The focus of the campaign was to highlight that Pure Storage is a ‘Natural Purifier’ and that with constant changes in the technology market that with a simple, efficient and effective data storage solution it is worth having a meeting with Pure Storage to find out more.
The feedback to the campaign was fantastic and created a high number of leads and sales pipeline for Pure Storage. The success has led to me creating subsequent campaigns in 2017 including a Christmas direct mail and the next phase is to design a new direct mail for Spring 2018.
